The City
Description:
The only album by Carole King's band! Carole King formed the band "The City" with Charles Larky and Danny Coachmer, just after she had left Jerry Goffin's band. This album (1968), produced by Lou Adler and featuring Jim Gordon on drums, was the band's only album released on the Ord label, but it was only available for a short period of time due to distribution difficulties, and is still talked about as a legendary album.A masterpiece that allows you to enjoy King's world view and his charm, which was established before the dawn of SSW's debut, and a number of good songs covered by Roger Nichols (M-1), the Byrds (M-2), and the Monkees (M-5). Includes obi commentary.
