Description:
Danielpour's "The Passion of Yeshua," which took 25 years from its initial conception, has finally been completed. The subject of the story is the biblical episode of the last days of the life of Jesus Christ, and Danielpour, himself of Jewish descent, added his own imagination to the historical facts to create a magnificent work. The whole is divided into two parts of seven movements, each with texts from the four Gospels (Matthew, Luke, John, and Mark), seven soloists, seven choirs, etc., always associated with the number seven. The beautiful music conducted by Joan Falletta delivers a variety of thoughts and strong messages to the listener through Danielpour's portrayal of the suffering Jesus. Naxos Japan
